A firefighter was rescued by the rapid intervention team after getting into trouble on the fireground during a fire yesterday in West Hollywood, California.
According to the Los Angeles Times (http://lat.ms/1r73sWG0, the incident occurred at a three-alarm fire in a three-story apartment complex just after 4 p.m. local time.

KTLA reported that the fire burned the second and third floors of the building. Los Angeles County (CA) Fire Capt. Brian Jordan told reporters that the building’s location at the top of a steep hill made access difficult for firefighters (http://bit.ly/1wN8FaQ).
