Photos: LAFD Firefighters Rescue Patients After Vehicle Crashes into Wash

Rick McClure shared photos of City of Los Angeles (CA) firefighters operating at the scene of a technical rescue in the Mission Hills section of the city.

The incident occurred at around 8:20 p.m. on March 26, 2022, at 14800 W San Fernando Mission Boulevard when a single vehicle went into the wash. There were two patients; LAFD crews extrication one of the patients and a litter basket operation was employed to bring the patients up to the surface for transportation. Both were deemed to be in serious condition due to the mechanism of injury.

Two workers were killed and another seriously injured in an explosion Tuesday at a Delta Air Lines maintenance facility near the Atlanta airport.
