Photos: LAFD Crews Rescue Patients at Deadly Crash

Fire photographer Rick McClure shared photos of firefighters with the City of Los Angeles (CA) Fire Department (LAFD) working to free victims from the scene of a deadly motor vehicle accident.

The May 9, 2021 crash occurred in the Sylmar neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley, and claimed the life of a 57-year-old woman who was struck head-on by another vehicle that reportedly crossed the roadway.

Firefighters rescued two men from one of the vehicles. The female victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the LAFD PIO.
