JEFFREY B. COFFMAN, of the Fairfax County (VA) Fire and Rescue Department, has been promoted to deputy chief. He is assigned to the Operations Division and will be responsible for planning and coordinating all fire and rescue department activities for a 24-hour period on assigned shift. Previously, he was a battalion chief in the same division.
