Indianapolis (IN) firefighters responded Tuesday to an incident in which a man became trapped beneath a bus.

Members of Indianapolis Fire Department Tactical Team 7 were dispatched at around 2:15 p.m. on February 13, 2024, to 10th and Arlington after an INDYGO employee found himself stuck under a bus. The worker, alert and unharmed was checking something underneath the bus when he got wedged in and couldn’t scoot himself back out.

Tactical Team 7 stabilized the bus at 10th and Arlington and, using airbags, lifted the bus off the man within 15 minutes of arrival. He was checked on scene and released.
