IN Firefighters Rescue Pit Bull from 12-Foot Trench

According to a report from WLWT, Indianapolis (IN) Fire Department (IFD) firefighters rescued a two-year-old pit bull, named Mansa, after it fell down a 12-foot trench while it was loose in its yard.

The dog’s owner said a contractor dug the trench that morning and left it open, covering it with two piles of dirt.

IFD’s trench rescue team shored up the trench and made it safe. They then entered the trench and rescued Mansa, who was unharmed.
