Sterling Rope, Inc. announces that Erin Weimer has joined Sterling’s marketing team as the new PR and Content Manager. Weimer comes to Sterling from Portland, Maine’s VIA agency where she managed their largest account, Sam’s Club. Prior to VIA, she was based in San Diego as an Account Director for id29, a boutique marketing agency specializing in outdoor sporting goods companies, managing their largest client at the time, Cobra Puma Golf.

We are in the process of creating Sterling’s next chapter and Erin’s vast marketing knowledge, organizational skills, and extensive project management experience are going to be critical for our continued success,” says Carolyn Brodsky, President of Sterling Rope.
Weimer will report to the Director of Marketing, Mattison Crowe, and be responsible for developing and executing the PR strategy and communication plan for Sterling Rope. As the main point of contact for all media-related content and questions, she will handle product announcements, press and promotional events. She will also acquire, organize, and manage all brand content used on the spectrum of Sterling’s traditional and digital marketing platforms.

When she’s not “learning the ropes” at Sterling, Erin enjoys playing golf and ice hockey. In the warmer months she also loves being outdoors–camping, sailing and hiking with her dog, Mona. She is also a self-proclaimed beer aficionado.
