Course Draws Praise

The National Burn Victim Foundation recently presented a 30-hour course on the transportation, handling and medical response to hazardous materials. Deputy Fire Chief Robert P. Horner III cited the “enthusiasm which participants in the course” displayed, commenting that “their effort makes it all worthwhile.”

The first round of the course was given in Toms River, Clark and East Orange, NJ. It has an enrollment of 305 students.
