Columbia Southern University, Chief Brunacini Fire-Rescue Leadership Institute Present Retreat

The Chief Brunacini Fire-Rescue Leadership Institute invites all first-responders and emergency service personnel to attend a leadership retreat April 12-14 at the Hilton Garden Inn in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Hosted by Columbia Southern University (CSU), this three-day leadership event, known affectionately as the “Hawaiian Shirt Boot Camp,” still has seats available. This educational and motivational seminar introduces attendees to an array of case studies and personal experiences by some of the nation’s foremost fire-rescue service leaders. Roundtable discussions and presentations led by renowned fire chief Alan Brunacini are designed to prepare individuals for their journey through fire and rescue leadership.

Individuals aspiring to or in fire chief or company officer positions will benefit greatly from the years of experience offered by Chief Brunacini and other expert panelists.  Participants also are eligible to earn three optional hours of CSU college credit upon successful completion of additional coursework and a Blue Card Command Certification Program 60-Hour Online Course.

Registration costs for the Brunacini Retreat are:

  • $900 for all CSU Learning Partners and CSU students and alumni
  • $995 for attendees and non-partners
