Multiple people were killed and several others injured after a semi tractor trailer smashed into stopped traffic on I-70 near Denver, Colorado.
According to CNN, the driver, who was not seriously injured, will face multiple counts of vehicular homicide.
The semi struck cars that had slowed because of another previous crash. The collision caused a massive fire with billowing smoke.
According to KDVR, a man panhandling near the crash stepped in to help pull people away, and other Good Samaritans reportedly intervened to help rescue people.
