Building Suffers Partial Collapse After Early Morning Fire in Tulsa (OK)

According to a report from KJRH, Tulsa (OK) Fire Department (TFD) crews brought under control a huge fire that erupted in a building in the city’s downtown area early Thursday morning.

TFD officials said the department was dispatched to a building near West Admiral Boulevard and North Maybelle Avenue at around 2:45 a.m.

On arrival, TFD crews arrived performed an area size-up to determine their tactics. The fire has since been contained, while crews are still on scene checking for hot spots.

Crews are also dealing with structural issues as the roof began to sag and the walls cracked. The building partially collapsed around 6:30 a.m.
