The Drop Bag is available from Smith Safety Products Inc. (SSP). The rope contained inside the bag can be used as a safety rope on roofs, during searches, or as a rescue/escape rope. The bag can be attached to any breathing apparatus for easy access. The drop bag's contents weighs 3 pounds and is built out of SSP's 3/8-inch Lime Line, a static kernmantle rope with high visibility and strength, according to the company.
