WYOMING, Minnesota — Rosenbauer America announced the successful certification of their exclusive N200 carbon fiber, high-flow industrial pump. In recent testing, the N200 pump reached full certification at 6,500 gallons per minute (gpm) and continues to be the most powerful high-flow pump Rosenbauer America offers for industrial firefighting applications.
“We tested and certified to 6,500-gpm @ 100-psi from draft, easily completing the entire NFPA 1900 Chapter 13 test. This is the output of the pump actually on the fire truck, not just the pump. During the testing of a Rosenbauer America fire apparatus, we were even able to flow 7,000-gpm,” said Chris Kleinhuizen, Chief Engineer for Rosenbauer Minnesota. However, the certification was ultimately set and achieved at 6,500-gpm.
This important feat proves the superior capability of the Rosenbauer carbon fiber N200 pump, available exclusively through Rosenbauer America. This allows the Rosenbauer N200 pump to function much quieter vs. what is typically found with traditional pumpers while still pumping nearly three times higher flow for this specialized, industrial application.
