Video: Two-Alarm Seymour (CT) Fire Displaces Families

Fire photographer and videographer Keith Muratori shared some fireground video of crews working at the scene of a fire that went to two alarms in Seymour, Connecticut.

At approximately 10:20 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023, the Seymour Fire Department was dispatched to 151 Pearl Street for the reported house fire. First companies arriving on scene found heavy fire on the second floor A-side of a large, two-story dwelling. A second alarm was immediately called due to fire conditions and companies from Ansonia and Oxford were dispatched to the scene as well as for station coverage.

According to Fire Marshal Tim Willis, four occupants and two dogs escaped the burning home safely before the arrival of the fire department. He also said that the fire is under investigation but appears to be accidental in nature. Crews brought the fire under control in roughly 15 minutes, according to a report from the New Haven Register, and no firefighters were injured.
