Vehicle Donated

The Kellogg, Idaho, Fire Department recently received a 1972 Chevrolet Suburban from a local utility company. The vehicle will be used for fire investigation and public education.

Most materials were donated by local businesses, while fire fighters from the Kellogg and Shoshone County Fire District 2 did the repair work, including body work, window etching and minor engine repair. It is equipped with camera equipment, two micro-tape recorders and hand tools.

The project began when the department sold a 1934 pumper and earmarked the money for use in fire investigation and public education.
