Two TX Mobile Home Fires Send Six to Hospital



According to KXAN, six people were hospitalized after two mobile homes on Research Boulevard in Austin, Texas, erupted in flames Tuesday night.

Austin (TX) Fire Department (AFD) crews received the call about the fire in the 8100 block of northbound Research Boulevard at 11:38 p.m. Tuesday night. Crews knocked down the fire by 12:10 a.m.

Austin-Travis County EMS paramedics transported three adults and three kids to a local hospital. One adult and two children have potentially life-threatening injuries. The other three victims are expected to survive.

The AFD is now investigating the cause of the incident.
