Two-Alarm Fire Damages Philadelphia Buildings

Firefighters from the Philadelphia (PA) Fire Department responded Monday to a two-alarm fire that damaged multiple buildings in the city’s Francisville neighborhood, according to reports.

WABC reported that the fire occurred around 3:52 p.m. on February 19, 2024, in the 1600 block of Ridge Avenue, damaging a three-story building and new five-story building and prompting evacuations.

Approximately 120 firefighters battled flames for several hours, as the fire spread to a nearby four-story structure.

No fatalities or injuries were reported, per FOX 29.
