A firefighter was critically injured responding to a fire at an apartment complex in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, according to reports.
WSMV reported that the firefighter was injured in a collapse while operating at a Saturday afternoon fire in the Glass Creek Apartments.
Three firefighters were operating in the 400 building when the collapse occurred, with one member sustaining critical injuries. He is reportedly in critical but stable condition.
No residents were reportedly hurt in the fire.
City officials said they believe lightning was the likely cause of the fire, according to WKRN.
