Staten Island (NY) Warehouse Fire Under Control After Five Hours

The FDNY worked a Mariners Harbor warehouse fire for five hours, reports SILIVE.com.

The FDNY reported to Instagram, “Upon arrival they had a very advanced fire in the warehouse. The warehouse houses multiple different commercial occupancies. It quickly escalated to a 5-alarm. We have 44 Fire and EMS units on scene, that’s about 200 Firefighters and EMS personnel. We have six tower ladders in operation. There were workers in the building, but they are all accounted for and there were no injuries to the workers … Right now we have a total of three injuries, two Firefighters and one EMS member. All three have been transported to local hospitals.”
