—A patent fire annihilator, invented by E. L. Abbott, of South Bend, Ind., was tested recently at Albany. N. Y., to the satisfaction of the Fire Commissioners. Tho invention consists of an eight-tubed nozzle, each tube capable of throwing a stream about one hundred yards.
-—The testimony, so far taken by the committee to investigate the origin of the Patent Office fire, indicates very strongly that the fire was the work of an incendiary.
