Propane Tanker Truck Crashes into MD Building

A propane tanker truck overturned and slammed into a condominium early this afternoon in Port Deposit, Maryland.

A report on WBAL (http://bit.ly/NnKjQ5) indicated that rescuers had to contend with a small fuel leak in the truck’s propane tank. The driver of the propane tanker truck remained in the cab of the truck for two hours as crews worked on the propane leak.

A report on cecildaily.com (http://bit.ly/N0RY0R) said the driver, whose name has not yet been released, was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital just after 3 p.m. The extent of the driver’s injuries is not yet known.

The condo was evacuated as a precaution. There were no reports of any injuries as of this writing.
