Photos: LAFD Firefighters Battle Stubborn Commercial Fire

Rick McClure shared some photos of City of Los Angeles (CA) firefighters responding to a recent commercial fire in the Sherman Oaks section of the city.

Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded at around 10:48 p.m. on January 12, 2021, to a fire at 15033 W Ventura Blvd. Photos from the scene seem to show fire going through the roof of multiple businesses, and firefighters having to navigate a fence surrounding part of the structure.

Crews struggled to reach deep-seated pockets of fire in the attic of the building, but it took 75 firefighters only an hour and 20 minutes to extinguish the fire with no injuries reported.
