Photos: Danville (IA) House Fire

Fire photographer Tim Olk shared some recent photos from the scene of a residential fire in Danville, Iowa.

According to the Hawk Eye, the fire Saturday evening, May 1, 2021, was caused by a grill fire that spread to the structure. Firefighters from Danville as well as the Yarmouth, Denmark and Mediapolis fire departments responded to the scene. Two residents were able to escape safely, and no injuries were reported. Firefighters used continuous water operations during the respond to the wind-driven fire.
