SHIPP, Ph.D., principal research associate at USG Corp., received the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International Award of Merit and title of Fellow for his contributions to Committee E05 on Fire Standards. The Award of Merit is ASTM’s highest organizational recognition for individual contributions to standards activities. An ASTM International member since 1987, Shipp is a past chairman of Committee E05 and currently leads Subcommittee E05.37 on Honors, Awards, and Nominations.
