More than 60 Displaced in Raging CT Condo Complex Fire

According to a report from WFSB, crews from the Manchester (CT) Fire Department (MFD) needed assistance from the South Windsor Fire Department to extinguish a raging fire at an apartment complex in Manchester Thursday afternoon.

MFD crews were dispatched to 39 Buckland Street at around 1:15 p.m. They arrived with their full firefighting force to find heavy fire showing.

At least 29 families, including 51 adults and 14 children, were displaced by the fire. No injuries have been reported, and fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
