MO Firefighter Injured in Fall Through Hole at Home

A Rock Community (MO) Fire Protection District firefighter suffered non-life-threatening injuries after falling through a hole in the floor of a burning home in Arnold early Sunday.

The home was vacant and suffered extensive damage in the fire, according to a report on stltoday.com (http://bit.ly/uZQTiM). The firefighter was injured when he fell eight or ten feet through a hole in the floor into the basement.

The firefighter was quickly remove from the structure and transported to an area medical facility, where he was checked and later released.
