An injured Michigan firefighter was reportedly refused treatement at an area clinic because he did not have his identification with him.
The Monroe News reported that Dan Motylinski, chief of the Dundee Township Volunteer Fire Department, said one of his firefighters partially fell through the floor while battling a fire Saturday morning.
The unnamed firefighter did not suffer major injuries, but when he sought treatment at a local clinic, he was turned away because he lacked identification. The firefighter was in his street clothes, according to the report.
The firefighter left and instead headed to St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor where he was treated for bruises to his ribs, side, and back.
