Firefighter Training: Meth Labs, Meth Lab Response, and Meth Users Program

The Firefighters Support Foundation has released Meth Labs, Meth Lab Response, and Meth Users. This free one hour video program and 100-slide PowerPoint presentation familiarizes public safety personnel about: how to recognize a lab if you are approaching one or are in one, how to recognize a dangerous meth user, the chemicals used in clandestine meth manufacture, and what to do if you encounter a user or lab.

The presenter of this program has over 15 years of clan meth lab experience, including years of undercover investigations in the meth subculture. He ran a state-wide clan lab program for five years and in his SWAT capacity has made over 150 dynamic, high-risk entries into them. He has been the safety supervisor overseeing the dismantling of over 400 labs.

Like all FSF programs, this program is free to all public safety professionals. You can view the videos on the group’s YouTube page or download them and the PowerPoint at the links below.
