Massive Fire Destroys Several TN Cabins

According to a report from WLOS, several cabins were destroyed in a quick-spreading overnight fire in the Upper Middle Creek area of Sevier County, Tennessee, early Tuesday morning.

The Sevier County Government’s Central Dispatch received the call for a structure fire around the 2100 block of Windy Lane at around 12:39 a.m. Tuesday.

The Pigeon Forge Fire Department (PFFD) arrived to find one cabin fully involved, with another 50% involved. The flames then quickly spread to third cabin before crews slowed down and then advanced on the intense fire.



No injuries have been reported, and the incident is now under investigation.

In addition to the PFFD and Sevier County Fire/Rescue, surrounding departments providing mutual aid included the Gatlinburg Fire Department, Catons Chapel Volunteer Fire Department, Sevier County Volunteer Fire Department, Wears Valley Volunteer Fire Department, and Waldens Creek Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene. First responders from the Sevier County Ambulance Service and the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office also offered assistance on the scene providing support for the fire response.
