80 Electrical Specialties—A line of heavy-duty, portable electrical products aimed at the fire and safety market has been introduced by Daniel Woodhead Company with the publication of a new 16-page catalog. Included are plugs, connectors, adapters, cord reels, emergency lighting and outlet boxes from the Woodhead Safety Yellow line of electrical specialties.

81 High-Intensity Light—HD Electric Co. has issued a brochure, No. VL 101, describing and illustrating VersaLite, a portable 12-volt light offered in spot, flood or dual beam from 3000 to 300,000 candlepower. A feature of the light is a 50-pound pull magnet in the base that permits temporary mounting in any position on ferrous metal surfaces.

82 Emergency Lighting—Dual-Lite Inc., Emergency Lighting Division, is offering an energy planning table which illustrates the economics of battery-operated emergency lighting equipment. The brochure includes details on watts consumed under normal operation, annual kilowatt hours and annual energy costs. The energy planning table includes information on Dual-Lite’s newest products: The NEMA 4X environmental emergency lighting unit and the AS-BC Series 6 and 12-volt units, plus Lumenette models capable of powering remote lighting heads, the Beamsplitter multidirectional unit, emergency exit signs, the Lampak emergency lighting fluorescent power pack and others.

83 Rescue Equipment—Rescue equipment designed to save lives is the focus of a catalog from Espoir. Featured are such equipment as the Espoir rescue holster designed by a Los Angeles paramedic and field-tested in the Boston hospital system to hold seven often used tools fingertip handy; auto extrication and precision surgical instruments and related accessories of value to EMTs, paramedics, fire and police departments, and other rescue professionals.

84 Antennas—A six-page brochure discussing advanced 800 MHz base and mobile antenna systems is now available from The Antenna Specialists Co. The brochure contains information and specificat ions on the company’s line of 800 MHz antennas including ¼ wave, 3 dB-gain and low silhouette mobile antennas as well as 7 and 7.5 dB-gain omni-directional base station antennas and a 9 dB broadband corner reflector.

85 Stretchers—An illustrated data sheet, No. 04-00-11, on first aid stretchers is available from Mine Safety Appliances Company. The MSA line of stretchers consists of six. different stretchers, each designed for specific emergencies and equipped with the necessary accessories.

86 Cutting Tools—A cutting tool handbook, catalog and engineering guide is available from H. K. Porter, Inc. Over 214 different bolt cutters, metal and cable cutters, steel strapping, wire rope, guy strand and chain cutters are shown. A section on special-purpose tools is also included. Each tool is listed with U.S. and metric dimensions and cutting capacities.

87 Batteries—Batteries for all types of hand-held radios and pagers are featured in a new 12-page catalog from Alexander Manufacturing.

88 Safety Kits Rockford Safety Equipment Company announces a four-color emergency safety kits catalog. The 32-page illustrated catalog, ESJ-79/80, contains and describes a number of emergency safety kits.

89 Films—A pocket-size brochure from Film Communicators describes eight 16mm color/sound films on industrial fire safety. Included are descriptions of the following films: Split Second Safety, Closed Containers and Fire, Preventing Cutting and Welding Fires, Automatic Sprinklers: The Myths and the Magic, Rubble Trouble, Flammable Liquid Fire Safety and Alarm.

90 Helmets—A four-page brochure from American Sports Company. Inc., describes the Fireman 250,500, 1000 and 2000 helmets. The helmets’ outer shells are constructed of Owens Corning Fiberglas and are heat resistant and not subject to degradation from solvents, oils and other chemicals. They are contoured to deflect falling and flying objects. Each helmet is equipped with a polycarbonate eye shield.

91 Boots Ranger Rubber Co. has issued a 12-page brochure on its fire fighters footwear. The well-illustrated brochure describes the Ranger Firemaster and Super lines of fire boots. A cut-away photo shows the construction of the boot. Also included is a section on women’s boots.

92 Hose and Accessories—A six-page brochure from Angus Fire Armour describes its fire fighting equipment for industry. Included are sections on foam and foam-making equipment; Redskin, Red Chief and Hi-Vol hose; relay accessories; foam/water cannons; portable pumps and marine monitors.

93 Ambulances—Modular Ambulance Corporation has issued a four-page brochure on its Modulance, Classic, Vanbulance, Mini-rescue, Modulance Rescue, Modulvan and Superlance models.
