Tiller literature

Pierce Manufacturing Inc.’s 105-foot aerial tiller is described in a new six-page brochure from the company.

The tiller section pivots and can be steered from the cab at the rear; the design enables a 37-foot turning radius even though the total vehicle length is more than 56 feet. A turntable leveling system permits full function of the aerial ladder at its 400pound, 1,000-gpm tip capacity while positioned on surfaces up to 10 degrees fore and aft and up to four degrees laterally.

Industrial price list

A 12-page price list from Whelen Engineering Co. introduces several new industrial and automotive products.

The new Halo-Beam halogen lightheads, featuring dual replaceable lamps, are available separately or as part of the company’s ambulance warning systems. Another new item is the Halo-Beam System 11, a flashing incandescent system for ambulances with interconnecting cables.

The HD Aerial Bucket Light Model 100 is featured in literature from HD Electric Co.

The battery-powered safety light is designed specifically for use on aerial lift buckets. It provides high-efficiency lighting with either 16,000 candlepower spotlighting or 3,000 candlepower floodlighting. It’s powered by a 7.5 volt replaceable battery.

Gas detector brochures

Brochures are available on two models of Allanco Iolite Monitor Corp.’s gas detectors, AIM 815-Z and AIM-3000.

The AIM 3000 adds an oxygen sensor to the existing 815-Z combustible/toxic gas detector model. AIM detectors feature no calibration of sensors, and they’re designed to take abuse.
