80 Fire Hose—The new large-diameter Triple-Duty 600 fire hose is described in Catalog No. 14-TD6-D 1278 published by National Fire Hose Corporation. The 4inch-diameter hose has a 600-psi test rating. It is recommended for use as supply, relay and attack hose. This increases the volume of water delivered to the fire and simplifies fire fighting logistics in congested areas or over long distance from the water source, according to the manufacturer. The brochure includes complete specifications, as well as data on possible hose lengths and friction loss at various flow rates.

82 Portable Tanks—Fol-Da-Tank Company has a new four-page, three-color folder describing its folding tank in sizes from 600 to 3000-gallon capacity and the two liners available. Photographs and illustrations demonstrate the ease of operation. Also, cut-away drawings show the operation of the company’s float dock strainer, along with sizes of strainers, floats and couplings.

The 24-page, full-color catalog features sample swatches bound into t he lx>ok for easy reference. It illustrates and describes in detail the complete line of Globe turnout suits and pants, Globe options, accessories, aluminized clothing systems, glo-products, reflective trim and lettering, and six different styles of gloves. Additionally, the catalog contains materials on NFPA standards and clarifies definitions to facilitate writing of specifications by purchasers.
84 Burn Pack—A six-page folder from Chromalloy describes the Burn Pac, a lightweight, portable sterile unit designed to provide on-the-spot emergency treatment of burn victims. Three kits are available: the BP 100 series which comes in both adult and pediatric sizes; the BP 300, an industrial kit; and the BP 200, a mini kit. Included in the folder are complete descriptions of the kits and the procedures to be followed in using them. Inserting poles in the slots provided, the Burn Pac becomes a litter.
85 Ambulances—Grumman Emergency Products’ new Type I all-aluminum, modular ambulance is detailed in a full-color brochure. An inside cut-away illustration pictures 23 features of this new ambulance. Inset pictures highlight sub-floor construction, driver’s control panel and attendant’s control panel. Also illustrated is an over-all interior shot of the ambulance that meets or exceeds all KKK-A-1822 specifications. The brochure also gives construction, safety and design details.
