Four-Alarm Fire Burns Through Three Jersey City (NJ) Homes

Fire photographer Ron Jeffers shared some photos of Jersey City (NJ) firefighters responding to a fire Wednesday that burned through multiple homes on Orleans Ave.

At least 19 people were displaced by the April 6, 2023 fire, which occurred around 10 a.m. in one structure and spread to two adjacent buildings on either side, according to ABC 7. Fire victims and eyewitnesses say there was roofing work being done before the fire broke out, according to the report.

The fire went to four alarms and was reportedly declared under control by 2 p.m., reported NJ.com. A number of cats were reported rescued.
