FL Firefighter Passes Away from Medical Emergency After Training

The U.S. Fire Administration reports that a Florida firefighter has passed away after participating in fitness training.

According to the administration’s report, on September 26, Martin County (FL) Fire Rescue Firefighter-Paramedic Scott R. Neumann, 52, participated in physical fitness training during his shift at Station 16. He subsequently passed away from a medical incident which has not yet been determined.

He had 24 years of service.
