Five-Alarm Bronx Fire Injures Five, Including Firefighter

A firefighter with the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) was among five people injured in an apartment fire Sunday evening in the Bronx, according to reports.

Nearly 200 FDNY firefighters responded to a fire on the top floor of an apartment building on 1420 Noble Ave in Soundview just before 7 p.m. Sunday, according to ABC News.

All the injuries were reportedly minor, and firefighters rescued a cage of puppies from the fire, the report noted.
