Firefighters Battle Four-Alarm Fire at Multiple Somerville (MA) Buildings

Firefighters responded early Monday to a fire that went to four alarms in the Boston-area city of Somerville, Massachusetts.

According to NBC Boston, a car fire extended to two structures. A total of 17 residents were displaced and a total of three buildings sustained damage. Companies from helsea, Cambridge, and Everett assisted in the response.

Somerville Fire Chief Charles Breen told Boston 25 News that when crews arrived at the scene Jackson Road, a car in the driveway between the two homes was engulfed in flames and then spread to the buildings.
