Horn

Federal Signal Corp. has introduced an electrically operated horn for apparatus not equipped with air systems.

The Traffic Blaster Model 58 Horn is capable of a sound output comparable to airhorns but does not require an air compressor kit for operation. It projects an omni-directional blast.

The horn is activated by a push button or from a siren control system. It draws less current than a standard automotive horn. Designed so that rain, spray, water or snow cannot reach the horn mechanism, the Traffic Blaster operates efficiently under severe weather conditions.

The horn is made of chrome-plated brass with a chrome-plated cast bronze base and operates on 12V, 24V and 32V. It is 21inches long and nine inches high.
