The fire service by its very nature projects a positive public-facing image. I mean, the vast majority of people are extremely happy and relieved when we show up…who else can say that?! That big red truck rolling up, our professional image, our training, the proficiency of our crews, and how we speak to the public should represent all that is great about the fire service. Never forget that people want to love us. Never give them a reason not to!
