Firefighters Respond to Dearborn Heights (MI) House Fire

Fire companies responded February 11 to this house fire in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, and area fire photographer Ian Kushnir shared some images from the scene.

The call for this fire came in around 9:17 p.m., and crew arrived to a fully involved house with line down on the D side.

Dearborn Heights had two engines and two rescues. Dearborn Fire Department called mutual aid for a ladder truck. Dearborn Ladder 2 had mechanical issues on scene and cleared.

The residents were not home at the time of the fire. It is possible that a clothing dryer may be to blame.
