Crews Contend with Fire in Vacant CT Commercial Building

Fire photographer and videographer Keith Muratori shared a video of firefighters responding to a second-alarm fire at an abandoned building in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on June 26, 2022, Bridgeport firefighters responded to the scene of a fire in a two-story, vacant commercial building located at 74 Oak St. in the Hollow Section of the city. Multiple buildings were involved and mutual aid responded from several towns to cover Bridgeport firehouses. The cause of the fire is unknown as of the time of this reporting.
