Warren L. Henning has been named director of customer service at American LaFrance.
Henning has been with American LaFrance for 20 years and has held several positions in service and manufacturing areas. He had been plant manager since April 1979.
H. Curtis Clifford has been appointed vice president of marketing at American LaFrance.
Clifford, who had been director of customer service, joined the company in 1971 and had also been sales manager. Prior to joining American LaFrance, Clifford was employed at Ward LaFrance Truck Corp. and Seagrave Fire Apparatus.
Lawrence E. Phillips has been appointed fire and safety instructor for the Mill Mutuals in Minneapolis.
Phillips, formerly a member of the Jamestown, N.D., Fire Department, is an active member of several organizations including the International Society of Fire Service Instructors. In addition to assisting fire departments in the insured clients’ areas, Phillips makes on-site inspections and conducts fire and safety meetings.
Angus Fire Armour Corp. has recently been purchased from Dunlop Holdings Ltd. by the Guthrie Corp., Ltd. Rick Fairclough will continue as vice president, sales, of Angus.
The combined operation will have fire hose and fire protection equipment factories in Canada, the United States, France, Australia, Malaysia, and England. Sales and distribution of these products will be worldwide.
Desmond Hird, president of Angus Fire Armour Corp. announced that Frank Mangum will continue as vice president, manufacturing, and Jim Ackerman, as vice president, finance.
William Luca has been named vice president, finance at Dual-Lite Inc., announced Stephen J. Ziff, president and chief executive officer.
Luca comes to Dual-Lite from the Insilco Corp., where he held various executive positions since joining that company in 1963. He is a member of the National Association of Accountants.
