Henry E. Kaeser has been named president of the new Domestic and International Development Division of American LaFrance. He will lead an extensive program of product diversification for overseas and domestic sales. Succeeding Kaeser as president is Gerald Peters who has been the division’s executive vice president.
Robert Wells has been promoted to Marketing Manager for the Dual-Lite Inc., Wiring Products Division. He will also continue in his previous position as acting sales manager for the division.
Honeywell Protection Services has announced the purchase of the assets of Preventive Electronics Inc., of St. Louis. The action increases the company’s nationwide security network to 39 central alarm monitoring stations. Morrie Zimring, founder and former president of the company has been named branch manager of the new operation.
M.S. Blosser has been named General Electric’s new National Sales Manager for Public Services Mobile Communications markets. Also appointed was C.R. Bostwick, who will he manager of Marketing Support.
R.E. Didion has been named vice president/manager of the Duplex Truck Division of the Nolan Company. He has been division manager since Duplex was purchased from the Warner & Swasey Company in 1976.
RCA Mobile Communications Systems has relocated its Mid-Atlantic regional sales headquaters from Camden, N.J. to offices in Cornwells Heights, Pa.
Aviation Power Supply, Inc., has received a Notice of Contract Award from NASA (Marshall Space Flight Center) to build and deliver a Firefly I 2500 gpm selfcontained firefighting module for evaluation and use in a Port City’s fire protection. The module will be built at APS’ Burbank facility and operator training will be provided at the facility’s technical school.
Donald H. Locke has been named vice president and general manager of Dual-Lite Inc., Emergency Lighting Division. Locke, formerly vice president of marketing, presently serves on the National Fire Protection Association’s Life Safety Code Committee as well as the Emergency Lighting Committee of the Illuminating Engineering Society.
