>> The NATIONAL FIRE HERITAGE CENTER (NFHC) chose Congressman Curt Weldon (R-PA) as its National Spokesperson. Weldon has served for more than 20 years as a member of the United States Congress. He became known as “America’s Fire Chief” when he led the creation of the Congressional Fire Services Institute, which turns 25 years old this year. As a volunteer fire chief and as mayor of Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, Weldon handled two of the largest energy disasters in the United States.
