Chief Casper Honored
The San Francisco Electrical Contractors Association, Inc. presented Chief Andrew Casper with the traditional gold plated electricians pliers Man of the Year Award at its annual installation of officers.
Casper joined the San Francisco Fire Department in 1947 and became chief in 1976. He has been instrumental in developing technical programs to improve the effectiveness of his department. He has been a leader in supporting the Life Safety concept of construction in San Francisco.
