Chicago Fire Crews Battle 3-11 Alarm Commercial Fire

Fire photographer Tim Olk shared some images of firefighters with the Chicago (IL) Fire Department battling a fire in a commercial structure on Tuesday, March 23, 2022.

According to the Chicago Fire Department PIO, the fire at 3040 Lawrence occurred in a building with truss construction that was a car dealership many many years ago. The building was in use at the time of fire with customers, but everyone got out unassisted. Firefighters employed multiple master streams during fire operations.

The roof came down in the fire building, which was deemed a total loss. There were no reported injuries.
