Fire photographer Steve Redick shared some photos from a warehouse fire Saturday night in the city of Chicago.

Redick’s impression was that the fire building was a fire-resistive structure with concrete floors, and the fire involved mattresses and foam padding in a large area of the first floor. Rainfall kept the smoke low and visibility to a minimum.

The attack lasted a few hours and cautious interior assessments were conducted in the later stages using thermal imagers and search ropes, Redick reported. A video from the scene is below.

According to a news report, two firefighters were injured in the 3-11 alarm fire.
