According to a report from ClickOrlando, at least 75 firefighters were on the scene at a massive fire that continues to burn several acres of land at a nursery in Osceola County, Florida, Thursday morning.
The fire erupted at around 2 a.m. at Nursery Supplies Inc. on Avenue A, north of Poinciana High School, near Kissimmee.
An Osceola County Fire Rescue & EMS official said at least two acres of pallets holding thousands of plastic pots were burning. The officials also said fire crews were stationed to slow the fire, but the nature of the burning product as well as the area presented several challenges.
The Orange County hazmat team is now monitoring air quality, although no evacuation orders have been given.
No one was injured in the fire.
The School District of Osceola County said no schedule changes for Poinciana High have been made because of the fire.
No major roadways such as U.S. 17-92 and Poinciana Boulevard have been closed or were affected by the incident.
