● Since the Topinabee (MI) Fire Department has no hydrants in its jurisdiction, it designed this MARION pumper with a large water tank and CAFS to facilitate fire attack with a minimum amount of water, according to Sergeant Mike English. The department uses a rear suction for drop tanks on narrow, winding driveways.

● The Holbrook (MA) Fire Department designed its E-ONE pumper to be user-friendly, according to Chief Edward J. O’Brien. It has a heavy-duty climate-control system and an additional slide-out steps for easy repacking of crosslays.

● The Great Lakes (IL) Naval Training Center Fire Department uses this PIERCE platform to access multistoried buildings at the training center and at the North Chicago Veterans Administration, according to Chief David S. Biondi. The pump adds versatility to the vehicle.

● The Green Township (IN) Fire Department uses its ROSENBAUER/CENTRAL STATES pumper with a large water tank for rural areas as a main attack unit, according to Chief Robert Holland. The unit also carries rescue, haz mat, and basic EMS equipment.
