>> The Special Areas Board, Municipal District, Nanton, Alberta, Canada, has in service this interface pumper built by FORT GARRY FIRE TRUCKS. Chief Glenn Durand says the vehicle is designed for rural firefighting but has the capability to combat structural fires. It carries a crew of five and has a bumper turret to fight grass fires while the crew is safe inside the cab.

Its PIERCE quint was designed with a tight turning radius because of dead-end streets and cul-de-sacs. It performs multiple fuctions with EMS, extrication, firefighting, and RIT capabilities.
