Affton (MO) Fire Captain Found Dead at Station

A fire captain with the Affton (MO) Fire Protection District was found dead while on duty at a fire station, according to reports.

Captain James “Jim” Cova, 54, was found unresponsive in his room at Affton Fire Station #1, according to FOX 2 Now.

A district spokesman told reporters that Captain Cova had answered several calls that day and made several emergency responses.

Captain Cova leaves behind a wife and their two daughters. A memorial service is planned, the report said.
